This policy explains what The Couch Wire (“we”) collects when you visit couchwire.com, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect
- Log data. Your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of your visit — recorded automatically by our server, as on any website.
- Analytics. Aggregated data about which pages are read and for how long, via Google Analytics.
- What you send us. If you email us, we keep that email and your address so we can reply.
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not sell personal data.
Cookies and advertising
This site displays advertising served by Google AdSense.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks may also place cookies. We do not control those cookies.

Your rights (CCPA / CPRA — California)
California residents may request to know what personal information is collected and for what purpose, request deletion, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — which, for this site, means opting out of personalised advertising as described above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Retention
Server logs are kept for 12 months. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
