The Couch Wire answers the questions people type into Google right before they buy, switch or cancel something: what a streaming service really costs, which gadget is worth it, how to automate the boring part of a small business. If your product helps with one of those decisions, you can put it in front of those readers.
Where your ad appears
- Top strip — one line above the site header, on every page.
- Home and category pages — a wide card between the editor’s sections and the list of stories.
- Inside articles — a card after the second section of the guide, where readers are already reading.
- End of article — a card just before the author box.
You pick the placements and the dates. When two advertisers share a placement, each visit shows one of them at random.
How it works
- Every ad is labelled Sponsored. Links carry
rel="sponsored", as Google requires for paid links. - Every click is counted, by placement and by day. Bots and link previews are not counted.
- Visits reach your site with
utm_source=couchwire, so you can check our numbers in your own analytics. - You get a short report each month: clicks this month, last month and in total, broken down by placement.
Audience, honestly
We are a young site, read mostly in the United States. We do not publish audience figures we cannot back up: ask, and we will send you our current Google Search Console numbers before you pay anything.
What we do not run
Unlicensed streaming or IPTV services, gambling, crypto trading, adult content, health or weight-loss claims, and anything we would not be comfortable recommending in an article. An ad never buys coverage: no advertiser sees an article before it publishes (see our editorial policy).
